Facts
Shagraa is a City located 190km northwest from Riyadh and contains 13 villages and communities. The Governorate’s population is 40.541 (2010 estimate) The name “Shagra: means “blonde” or "Blondie" which is taken from “the blonde mountain” around. Shaqraa is strategically important because it is a good farming area and historically was a strategical trading place for the pilgrims on the way to Makkah.
Tour Details
A one day trip, two hours’ drive from Riyadh by coach. You will visit Ragabah Tower, Al Gassab and see how salt is produced, Alsbee’s Heritage House, Nufod Al Washeem and walk in the old village of Ushaiger. A lunch box
